ChemInform Abstract

α-Thienyl substituted triarylamines (III)—(V) are synthesized as novel molecular systems for electrochemical conversions from tris(bromophenyl)amine (I) by a slightly modified Grignard coupling reaction. Compound (III) is transformed into the dimer (VI) by an oxidation—reduction sequence.
