ChemInform Abstract
A large number of oligomers such as (III), (VI), (IX), and (X) as well as polymers are prepared by transition metal-catalyzed coupling reactions including a new method using arylcadmium chlorides as substrates. The polymers have metal-like properties and their p-type doping with I2 or FeCl3 leads to large enhancements in conductivity.
