ChemInform Abstract

Podand-type ionophores are used in the preparation of Ag+-selective membrane electrodes. Electrochemical properties of these electrodes are investigated. Among a series of thiopodands the derivatives (I) and (II) seem to show the best response and selectivity to Ag+.
