ChemInform Abstract

Ten model cyclopentadecatrienes of the types (I) and (II) are prepared from functionalized trisubstituted dienophile and diene synthons in order to study the influence of the position and the nature of the dienophile substituents on the tricyclic products of their transannular Diels-Alder reaction.
