ChemInform Abstract

The title compounds (Vb) and (VIb) (yield given in g ) are characterized by XRD, IR, and 1H and 15N NMR. Both compounds crystallize in the monoclinic space group P21/n with Z = 4. The crystal structure of (Vb), only the second full characterization of a complex of (S2N3)-, confirms the presence of two distinct S-N bond lengths (1.49 and 1.6 Å). The 15N NMR spectrum of (Va) confirms the absence of protonation of the S-N ligand.
