ChemInform Abstract

Triethylborane reacts with H2SO4 to form Et2B-O-SO2-O-BEt2, which can also be prepared from (III) and SO3. This compound reacts with (I) by boryl exchange to give the solid sulfate (II). The cyclic sulfates (IV) and (V) are obtained by reaction of H2SO4 with the diboroxanes (III) and (I), respectively.
