ChemInform Abstract
Simultaneous reaction of the bis(hydroxymethyl)phosphine sulfide (I) with the borinate (II) and the hydrazines (III) gives the dioxaphosphaboratinanes (IV) which have antiviral activity. The different place of the protonation of the phenylhydrazine (IIId) is verified by IR spectroscopic and X-ray data. (X-Ray analysis of (IVd): rhombic, space group Pbca, Z = 8).
