ChemInform Abstract

Alkylation of the yellow powder (III) (space group: Cc, Z = 4) leads to the Troeger base derivative (V), which forms clathrates with several guests such as p-xylene, m-chlorotoluene, diethyl ketone, dioxane and H2O. The inclusion of p-xylene by (VI) is also studied.
