Abstract

The trimethylsilyl-substituted phosphaalkene (I) and the phosphaimine (VIII) react with bis(η-cyclopentadienyl)chlorozirconium hydride (II) to produce the zirconium heterocycles (III) and (IX).

ChemInform Abstract

The trimethylsilyl-substituted phosphaalkene (I) and the phosphaimine (VIII) react with bis(η-cyclopentadienyl)chlorozirconium hydride (II) to produce the zirconium heterocycles (III) and (IX). In contrast, the P-halogenated phosphaalkene (IV) and the phosphaimine (X) do not undergo cyclization reaction with the zirconium hydride (II), but form the dehalogenated phosphorus compounds (V) and (VI) or (XI) and (XII). The diphosphirane (VI) and the phosphaimine (XI) are also prepared by reduction of (VII) and (X) with tributylstannane.
