Abstract
The O-aminoalkyl derivatives (III) and (V) are analogues of the well-known antidepressant, agent "fluvoxamine" (VI).
ChemInform Abstract
The O-aminoalkyl derivatives (III) and (V) are analogues of the well-known antidepressant, agent "fluvoxamine" (VI). The acid (XIII) represents a thia isostere of the known antiinflammatory agent "ibuprofen" (XIV). The O-aminoalkyl derivatives (III) and (V) and the acids (VIII) and (XIII) are screened for their antidepressant antiinflammatory and analgesic activity. The fluvoxamine analogue (V) may be regarded as a potential antidepressant. The acids (VIII) and (XIII) have an antiinflammatory activity comparable to that of ibuprofen (XIV).
