ChemInform Abstract

Besides merulidial (Ia), the compounds (IIa) and (III)-(VI) are isolated from the culture fluid of the title fungus. The constituents (IIa) and (VI) are found to be present in the mycelium as well. Th absolute configuration of the terpene skeleton is deduced from X-ray analysis of (Ib) and (IIb) (both space group P212121; Z=4).
