ChemInform Abstract

The cyclic trimer (III) is obtained according to the scheme and characterized by IR, 1H NMR, and MS data as well as X-ray structure analysis (space group P21/c, Z=4). This cyclic Ta nitride provides support for the postulated stability of benzene-like metal nitride trimers.
