Abstract

Anodic oxidation of the phosphinite (phosphonite) (II) in the presence of the aromatic hydrocarbons (I) gives mixtures of the phosphine oxides (phosphinates) (III) - (V).

Anodic oxidation of the phosphinite (phosphonite) (II) in the presence of the aromatic hydrocarbons (I) gives mixtures of the phosphine oxides (phosphinates) (III) - (V). The o/m/p-ratio depends on the alkyl group R1.
