Abstract
The title compound crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 with Z=4.

The title compound crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 with Z=4. The structure contains (Bi2(CrO4)2)2+ double chains which are linked together by one oxygen atom of the chromate anions and by one dichromate anion.
