Abstract

The N-protected amino acids (I) react with the carbonylbis(oxadiazolidine) (II) to give the mixed anhydrides (III) which are treated with 4-dimethylaminopyridine (IV) to produce the salts (V).

The N-protected amino acids (I) react with the carbonylbis(oxadiazolidine) (II) to give the mixed anhydrides (III) which are treated with 4-dimethylaminopyridine (IV) to produce the salts (V). These react with some alcohols such as (VI), yielding the amino esters (VII).
