ChemInform Abstract

The cobalt(II) chelates of 2-(2'-pyridylmethylene- and 2-(pyrrol-2'-ylmethylenehydrazonomethyl)phenol have low-spin forms in DMF and DMF-pyridine. In these solvents the Co(II) chelates form reversible adducts with molecular oxygen.
