Abstract
The aldehydes (I) are coupled with the telluronium carbamoylmethylide (II) to form the α,β-unsaturated carboxamides (III).

The aldehydes (I) are coupled with the telluronium carbamoylmethylide (II) to form the α,β-unsaturated carboxamides (III). Several solvents and various bases for the generation of (II) are tested.
