Abstract

Normal and second-derivative UV spectra, in hexane, are recorded for 13 polyunsaturated pentadecanes, all extracted from Oenanthe aquatica fruits as described previously.

Normal and second-derivative UV spectra, in hexane, are recorded for 13 polyunsaturated pentadecanes, all extracted from Oenanthe aquatica fruits as described previously. The spectra are interpreted in terms of localized excitons and subsequent excitation transfer.
