Abstract

The sample studied has a composition close to LaBa2Cu3O6.7 and a critical transition temp. of Tc = 70 K. XRD results show that this tetragonal (space group P4/mmm) oxid has an ordered oxygen deficient perovskite-type structure.

The sample studied has a composition close to LaBa2Cu3O6.7 and a critical transition temp. of Tc = 70 K. XRD results show that this tetragonal (space group P4/mmm) oxid has an ordered oxygen deficient perovskite-type structure. A structural model is proposed and discussed in comparison with the structure of YBa2Cu3O7-x.
