Abstract
2-Methyl-1-buten-3-yne (I) is coupled with the chloromethylsilanes (II) in the presence of hexachloroplatinic acid to give the adducts (III) and (IV).

2-Methyl-1-buten-3-yne (I) is coupled with the chloromethylsilanes (II) in the presence of hexachloroplatinic acid to give the adducts (III) and (IV). The product distribution depends on the ratio of the starting materials.
