Abstract
The phosphonites (I) react with the aldehydes (II) to give the ylenes (IV) via the phosphoranes (III).

The phosphonites (I) react with the aldehydes (II) to give the ylenes (IV) via the phosphoranes (III). Wittig reaction of (IV) with (II) leads to the formation of the title compounds (V).
