Abstract
Coupling of the peracylated ribofuranoses (I) with the triazolecarboxylate (II) and subsequent deacylation give the nucleoside (IV) which is converted into the derivatives (V) and (VI).

Coupling of the peracylated ribofuranoses (I) with the triazolecarboxylate (II) and subsequent deacylation give the nucleoside (IV) which is converted into the derivatives (V) and (VI). Desulfurization of (IIIb) and (V) gives the nucleosides (VII) and (VIII). (UV-, IR-, 1H-NMR- data).
