Abstract

The cyclopropenylium salts (II) and (IV) react with diazomethyl compounds of type (I) to give the pyridazines (III) and (V), respectively.

ChemInform Abstract

The cyclopropenylium salts (II) and (IV) react with diazomethyl compounds of type (I) to give the pyridazines (III) and (V), respectively. The structure of (III) is confirmed by X-ray analysis of (IIIa) (space group C2/c; Z = 8). Type (V) is also obtained when the salts (VI) are used instead of (IV).
