ChemInform Abstract

As shown by 1H, 13C, and 15N NMR, protonation of title compounds such as (I)-(III) ((E)-enolimine, enamine, (Z)-enolimine form) takes place at the formyl oxygen atom (tautomeric equilibria, substituent effects).
