Abstract

In all the Pd fluorides studied the Pd atom has a more or less distorted octahedral coordination.

ChemInform Abstract

In all the Pd fluorides studied the Pd atom has a more or less distorted octahedral coordination. Shifts in binding energies are correlated to the oxidation state and covalency of Pd. The XPS results confirm the unusual +III oxidation state of Pd in NaPdF4, Na3PdF6, K3PdF6, and K2NaPdF6.
