Abstract
The reaction of corresponding metallocene dichlorides with equivalent amounts of the S,N- or N,N′-dilithium salts of 0- aminothiophenol or o-phenylenediamine in benzene at room temp. leads to the chelate complexes (I).

The reaction of corresponding metallocene dichlorides with equivalent amounts of the S,N- or N,N′-dilithium salts of 0- aminothiophenol or o-phenylenediamine in benzene at room temp. leads to the chelate complexes (I). The structure of the complexes (I) (E: S) with five-membered MSC2N chelate rings is discussed on the basis of their temp.-variable 1H NMR spectra. The fragmentation of the chelates (I) is observed in the mass spectra.
