Abstract
The oximo-thiosemicarbazones (I), on treatment with HNOZ, react at the oxime function only, leaving the thiosemicarbazone moiety intact.

The oximo-thiosemicarbazones (I), on treatment with HNOZ, react at the oxime function only, leaving the thiosemicarbazone moiety intact. The title compounds (II) so obtained are the hitherto unknown Z-isomers. Their spectral data are compared to those of the known E-isomers.
