First published: July 1, 1986

Abstract

A new Compound, 12 Sr0 - 7 Al2O3, has been prepared by simultaneous hydrolysis of Sr(0-iPr)2 and Al(0-iPr)3 at 5°C. It crystallizes in the cubic system; the structure contains tetrahedral A104 groups and octahedral A106 groups.

ChemInform Abstract

A new Compound, 12 Sr0 - 7 Al2O3, has been prepared by simultaneous hydrolysis of Sr(0-iPr)2 and Al(0-iPr)3 at 5°C. It crystallizes in the cubic system; the structure contains tetrahedral A104 groups and octahedral A106 groups. At higher temp. 12 Sr0 - 7 Al2O3 decomposes into 3 Sr0- Al2O3 and Sr0 - Al2O3.
