Jetzt auch in Farbe: Mehrfarbige molekulare Beacons wurden durch Konjugation von Stamm-Schleife-Sonden und Helfer-Oligonucleotiden an große Gold-Nanopartikel erzeugt. Die Nanobeacons reagieren auf die Hybridisierung mit komplementären DNA-Strängen durch eine mehrfarbige Emission und können DNA-Analyte parallel differenzieren (siehe Bild).
