Eine Familie von polycarbanionischen Initiatoren: Durch einfachen Halogen-Lithium-Austausch wurden Bis-, Tris- und Tetrakis(aryllithium)verbindungen (siehe Schema) aus den entsprechenden Arylhalogeniden erhalten. Die Polylithio-Spezies wurden in mehrarmige Polystyrol- und Polybutadien-Sternhomopolymere sowie in sternförmige Poly(styrol-block-butadien-block-methylmethacrylat)-Blockterpolymere überführt.
