Atrazin

Abstract
Atrazin (1912-24-9, auch 1-Chlor-3-ethylamin-5-isopropylamin-2,4,6-triazin) ist ein systemisches Boden- und Blattherbizid, das selektiv in toleranten Kulturen (z. B. Mais, Sorghum, Zuckerrohr) oder nicht-selektiv zur Kontrolle von Unkräutern (z. B. auf Industrieflächen, Wegen, Plätzen) eingesetzt wird und in Deutschland verboten ist. Atrazin wird sowohl im Vorals auch im Nachauflauf eingesetzt, wobei die Aufnahme hauptsächlich durch die Wurzeln erfolgt. Mit Ausnahme von Pflanzen und Algen ist die toxische Wirkung auf Organismen mittel bis gering, sodass das terrestrische Ökosystem im Ganzen durch Atrazin nicht nachhaltig gefährdet ist.
