Abstract

The new language of digital sexualities is introduced and the forms it takes discussed. After a discussion of terminologies, digital sexualities are seen to have an impact on information, networking, representations, embodiment, and politics. Empirical studies of this field are briefly reviewed. Theoretical concerns are linked to change in time and space and global shifts in body and representations. The entry ends by raising some of the ethical and political issues of the new digital sexualities.
