Summary

The role of percutaneous structural heart interventions has rapidly grown in the everyday care of cardiac patients, and cardiac imaging is needed throughout this process. In this chapter, we examine the evolving role of the structural echocardiographer in transcatheter aortic valve replacement and percutaneous edge-to-edge mitral valve repair in the pre-procedural, intra-procedural, and post-procedural settings.
