Abstract

Skull morphology of human populations has been the focus of numerous studies spanning more than a century. Analysis indicates that there is a strong genetic influence on morphology, thus allowing the estimation of relatedness between populations. Craniofacial morphology is also influenced by environmental factors, such as climate and diet.
