Summary

The vascular liver diseases encompass several rare diseases. The most well-known primary vascular liver diseases are portal vein thrombosis, non-cirrhotic idiopathic portal hypertension (which includes nodular regenerative hyperplasia), sinusoidal obstruction syndrome (also known as hepatic venooclusive disease), peliosis hepatitis, and Budd-Chiari syndrome. This chapter provides characteristic images of Budd-Chiari syndrome, sinusoidal obstruction syndrome, nodular regenerative hyperplasia, and peliosis hepatis.
