Abstract

Static and dynamic properties of amorphous polymers are reviewed, with emphasis on experimental data. Various experimental techniques commonly used to probe these properties are described and their individual merits are made clear. The challenging problems that still remain to be solved for a satisfactory understanding of the dynamic properties of amorphous polymers are discussed.
